Hello. My name is Erin Paterson and I am the HS Science Teacher, Archery Coach, Senior Class Sponsor and HS Academic Team Sponsor.
I am originally from Kansas City, Kansas. I moved to the Ozarks for college, attending Missouri State University for my B.S. in Biology (minor in Chemistry). After graduating from college, I worked for the Kansas City Kansas school district for three years as an Environmental Education Specialist. My husband and I moved to Branson due to our love for the Ozarks and I decided to go back to school to get certified to teach due to my love for education. While getting my certification, I worked as a substitute teacher for the Galena School District. I fell in love with the district and the community, so I was honored to take on the high school science position when it became available. I have since went back to school, at Drury University, and received my Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction. I have been teaching for five years now and truly feel like a part of this community!
Professional Educational Affiliations: National Science Teachers Association, Science Teachers of Missouri, and Missouri State Teachers Association.
